A Next Metal Gear is OBVIOUS

So, uh.

http://yfrog.com/08bigbossbp

Yeah.

Was I wrong or what about Metal Gear Solid 5.

However, at least now more things makes sense.
And it is beautiful.
Beautiful.

Now look at the blog post below me. This is just filler as I am going to sleep land now.

The Trudvang: Ljuset i dunklet.

First of all, sorry that the last blog wasn't about Roleplay. My laptop crashed as I was typing it and like the idiot I am I forgot to save. Fail!

Anyway.
PART ONE

First of all, Trudvang is a roleplay set that works like DnD, but it is just in Swedish and helluva lot easier to understand. Or at least I think so. Plus it has some of the better roleplays I've played and everytime I feel so happy.

Anyway, I began to roleplay this around 3 years ago when I was still a rookie considered dices to be inferior! Now I can't live without them and their beautiful jokes! "I'll rob the store!" "Roll the dices" "... CRITICAL FAIL!"

So yeah. Anyway, I won't go through the characters I've created seeing as that could probably TAKE awhile. And time is the thing I don't really have considering I have lots of schoolwork! So, let's begin with the current adventure I'm roleplaying.

"Ljust i Dunklet" also translated in english as "Light in the Dim". Poorly translated, but I don't know what the Dungeon Master would call the adventure in english.

Before we get into the whole adventure, I'll describe the characters in the group. There is me, the so called Bard! I have specialized in playing on my flute and just be a great annoyance to the group! Of course, I do have some tricks up my sleeves, like how I backstabbed that knight. IN THE FACE.

Okey not the face but it could have been the face!

Next up is our Ranger, which name I have yet to figure out (I haven't been told XD). Of all the members in our group, his character is the only one to really dislike mine. And when I say dislike, I mean that he tries to destroys my flutes! D: Played by Pierre.

Then we have this character that just amuses me, Rhudwar. He goes around using a big broad axe that is pretty awesome. This character and mine get along best in the group, where others find me more of an annoyance. But they still love me. Played by Modnar.

Oleif is the last of our member, as Egil has mysteriously disappeared! I never really found out what his character was, but I got a vague idea he was some sort of Craftsman. That is considering that he pretty much spent cooking and skinning ze animals.

Then the person who created the roleplay, THE DUNGEON MASTAAAAAAAH! Also known as Thomas; Summoner of Rabbits!

ANYWAYS! It's time to start the adventure!

Unfortunately, I wasn't around for the beginning of the prologue as I was shooting a film in school. But this was the rundown I was given at the time:

Apparently, Oleif here is on a quest to save his father who is suffering from some sort of disease. Managing to enlist Rhudwar, who is looking for some crystal. Those two decide to join forces and to find it in a place called "Svart Liden" and save the day!

And my character just steps in here and says "Can I join please?". The two look at each other and then say "OK!" and off we go to the forest of mystery! Until we realise that none of us knows how to guide through the forest when we see a Ranger sitting there. We ask for his help and BOOM HE FLIES INTO THE FOREST AND WE FOLLOW AFTER HIM WITH NO IDEA WHY!

And along the way we meet Egil, go around, meet a death knight or something, defeats a Basilisk (those guys can petrify you!) and decides to go around doing stuff. AND THUS I ARRIVED TO THE ROLEPLAYING TABLE ASKING "WTF IS GOING ON GUYS!?"

They all sigh and give me the finger.
Nah I kid.

They give me the rundown and I go directly down on being straight out annoying! The first thing is that the Ranger tries to scare me with the Basilisk head and I go "Oh that's ugly." which ensues in laughter. Ah, I like my character already.

Anyway, on our way we suddenly find a mysterious caaaaave! Ooooooooo! As we enter, we are surprised to find a Lohmed(don't know how they are spelled so whatever). It is apparently a very rare creature and Pokémon references ensues within seconds! Anyway, this fella name is Elax and he turns out to be one nice guy. He cooks us dinner, tells us shit that my character really doesn't pay attention too (though the Player did).

Anyway, after spending one night there, we're off into the wild again. After awhile, it gets so dark that we decide to go to sleep. WHEN WE SUDDENLY WAKE UP TO FIND THE DEATH KNIGHT! And the only reason I call him Death Knight is because he just wouldn't DIE ARGH. So the fight ensues (we found out later we were meant to escape DO'H). Quickly, I decide to play on my flute. FAIL.

So despite all the odds against us, I decide to RAM MY FLUTE UP HIS ARSE!... My red flute broke into two. D: This angers my character and in his anger he makes a swift shifting of his speed and ends up behind the knight and SLAMS MY DAGGER INTO HIS NECK.

17 effing damage, enough to kill anything that moves! Or so I thought, seeing that this asshole just healed his wound and made my knife get stuck. He manage to score a low hit on me and I pull out the knife, but forgot to hold onto the knight so BADUMN on my arse. Anyway, the fighting continues until Egil (another character that has mysteriously disappeared) becomes the host of this knight and makes the horse evaporate into nothing!

And I was the only one to witness him getting possessed. Oh well. I begin to search the area to find some great treasure. But all I find is some stupid coal hand. I try to touch and WHAM I lost my right hand. This leaves me in shock for the last remainder of the first part of the roleplay, but I'll live. It is just a minor consequence.

Anyway, we find some old dude that kind of heals my stump, which does put me in a better mood once more! He advised to return to Elax, but pretty much everyone in the party except my character began to give up on life. And then we went to sleep, IRL and in RP!

The next day, IRL and RP, the adventure continued! All of us spended time in Elax hut, with Egil disappearing and never to be seen thus far. Might he return in the future as an evil DEATH KNIGHT? Most likely. Oh well, we rested fairly well UNTIL ELAX SUDDENLY TOLD US TO FOLLOW HIM.

Happily I skipped after him, being the fastest member of the party. Elax could jump on trees, thus my character thought he could do the same. Oh boy was I wrong as I fell into the snow with the first step. Oh well, I got back up and went after Elax once more! Upon arriving the designated area, we find that a female minotaur is fighting for her life against six wolves.

Will we sit back and watch her die?
HELL TO THE NO! TO ARMS COMRADES.
*imagine fighting where Oleif rides on a wolf and slams it into a wall, me trying to backstab the enemy countless of times but only succeding once, Rhudwar getting almost crushed by a dead wolf. In short, it was epic*

After the fight, I managed to barely saved the Minotaur from bleeding to death. Luckily for us Elax helped us get the Minotaur on a sleigh and travel back to his cave. And I find it funny that the one with the crippled hand (me) was the only one who managed to carry the Minotaur along with Elax. XD

Anyway, as we come back to the cave, we realise that Oleif is gone! Crappers, he's lost in the woods without anyone to help him!

... Oh well.

Anyway, here comes a section that I can't explain because it is super secret stuff. So imagine a respawning rabbit instead.

Anyway, what I can tell you is that later on I wake up to find Rhudwar, the Ranger and some guy with a huge arm and a small arm! Lucky you might think, but nooooooooooooo. We're forced to do some riddle, which we constantly try to guess! But no, the players couldn't solve the riddle. The characters do. Critical hit on Intelligence! Booyeah!

Anyway, now that we're in some sort of group again, we move onwards only to come back to a hill (maybe later on I will explain what happened the first time I went to the hill). This small hill is the only place where flowers actually bloom and it is infested with gray trolls that is cooking soup! (and everyone knows that Troll Soup includes corpses! Yay!)

We sit down and get to know that to find out more information about the crystals (oooooh, back to main plot!), we have to find some guy called Maj that isn't a human. They point us to a direction and OFF WE GO!

Until four big shadows ambushed us. Out of the party, I was the only one able to dodge the incoming attack. Swiftly, I tried to escape the attackers but to no avail. And of course we end up in a cage in a Minotaur village! Where else in this forsaken forest?!

Anyway, we get to meet some Shaman that offers us tea, surprisingly not poisoned, before he tells us that Maj will show us the way. Great, the one guy that can show us the way is a giant Minotaur.

A minotaur that thinks I'm puny might I add! Oh well, to gain his trust I make my way to the TESTSSSSSSSS... And to our surprise, we actually find Oleif doing them tests already! Hooray, he's doing our work! After awhile, with lots of respawning rabbits, Oleif finishes the whole ordeal and thus the rest of us don't have to do the ordeal! Awesomeeeee!

The minotaurs gives Oleif some cool tatoo, which I instantly get jealous over and then there is a party, with ending when the group goes to sleep at the Shaman's place. And that ends the roleplay for this time.

Overall, so far I think the adventure is effing brilliant! The DM did a good work on the roleplay and the players were awesome (seeing it is the first time I roleplay with them. Except Pierre, we cool like that). Personally, I can't wait to roleplay with these guys again and solve the mystery in the mysterious forest. OoooOooooooOooooooooo.

END PART ONE!
PART TWO WHENEVER IT HAPPENS!

The Next Metal Gear?

So, I bet a whole lot of you like that franchise by Konami called Metal Gear. I, for one, love the series. Sure, it has cutscenes that ends up being one hell of a movie, but I love it for that. I really really do.

After the fourth game, I was actually hoping that the franchise would come to an end. I mean, it was the end of Snake's journey and he would live the last few months of his life like a human. It was a definite end for the franchise that we know and love.

However, of course a franchise this loved wouldn't end. Oh no, not by a long shot.

http://www.konami.jp/kojima_pro/next/index.html

That site is a teaser to the next game, which will more than likely show a new trailer(hopefully) when ALL THE TIMERS END BECAUSE THEY ARE INFINITE. Well, ten more hours until the next clock begins.

But you have to ask yourself. What's with all the letters and numbers? They keep showing up time from time in that screen and constantly teases me. I wish ten hours would pass so I could understand it better.

But knowing Kojima he will probably confuse us even more!

Anyway, the letters are as following:
The first apparent one is 5, but could also be a S.
The second one is 3, no doubt unless there is a secret language I don't know about (japanese for example them crazy people).
The third is E and I got nothing on that one.
The last one so far is what has me confused. It could either be a G, @ or a really mishapen p.

So, what can we make out from this one?
Well, at Kotaku said it could simply be "5@E3", but it seems so vague to me. So I decided to make my own little word game!

So far, in my opinion, we have been revealed 5, E, G and 3.
G I make it to say GEAR.
S is simply SOLID, as it would have been IF they continue the Solid series.
3 stands for the third of the series. As of now, we have Original Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid.
So the E could simply stand for EXISTENCE, seeing as Kojima copyrighted something entitled Metal Gear Existence about a year ago or so.

So, the title could be "METAL GEAR SOLID: EXISTENCE". 3 would stand for the third series in the canon-verse.

Of course, I could be completely wrong. I suppose I'll find out in about 10 hours when he adds MOAR NUMBERS AND LETTERS FOR HIS OWN AMUSEMENT ARGH.

Sometimes I can really hate Kojima.
No matter how great his games are.

The First One

Sooo... I didn't think I would be getting a blog to be honest.

But at least I got something to do now when I'm bored. Or perhaps I could ask for advice on shit that could seem interesting. Who knows?

Well, I should begin with introducing myself.

Ze Name is Carl Victor Ekelund and if you guessed that I'm from Sweden, one plus point to you! (+1) I was born in November 14 1989, so you can probably guess I'm starting to get old. (+1) But if you didn't guess, my internet name is Neverstorm.

Oh I am also very VERY egocentric. Being aware of it is awesome (+1)!

Currently, I've been internet roleplaying for abou 5-6 years, but it has been dimnishing seeing as I find DnD Roleplaying funnier, but the swedish version is way cooler. Sure, it isn't something that happens everyday, but you just sit and wait for the continue. Actually, right after this blog post I'm going to make another one to describe them roleplays.

After all that, I am also an avid gamer. Been playing them vidjagames since I was four, starting with the spectacular SUPER NINTENDO. However, by the years I've joined the dark side (Sony(+2)) and been a fanboy since. I especially like them RPGs and Adventure games, seeing Final Fantasy as the prime example of it. It pretty much started the whole deal!

Also I dislike the XBOX360. IT MUST BE DESTROYED IN THE NAME OF THE GLORIOUS PLAYSTATION 3.

and the Wii I guess.

Anyway, I don't know what more to describe here so I'm going to end the blog.

HUM DE DEE DUM AND PEACE OUT!
